FINALLY!!! This Saturday the 9th of April the most challenging and exciting race of the year will take place. The Nurburgring 24 Hour is one of iRacings most popular endurance races on the special events calendar.

The 24 Hours Nürburgring (ADAC 24h Rennen Nürburgring) is a 24-hour endurance event held on the Nürburgring Combined – Gesamtstrecke 24h in Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It also utilizes part of the GP-Strecke course to form a total lap length of 16.1 miles (25.9 km).

WPR Racing is competing with the following line up: Maarten de Wit, Wesley Geelhoed, Peter den Otter, Stefan Bekhuis, Sander Reij, Remko Barlow and Ferdinand Geertman.

Friday night Wesley started the 24 hours of the Nurburgring for us, we started off with a bit of bad luck and that stuck with us.. after a few incidents and a bit of coffee in the pits, Once we were back on track we were putting out lap times that belong with a top 5 finish (Ferdinand drove laptimes which are from another world but secretly he is an alien so that’s ok!)

We finished the race, which is a win in itself, at P24.
We will review what went wrong and will adjust our strategy accordingly for next year! Then we will be back!
